1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using PaystubProof (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service is
PaystubProof is a self-service tool that generates pay-stub (earnings-statement) documents from information you provide. We do not verify, audit, or certify that information, and we are not your employer, accountant, payroll provider, or tax adviser.
3. Acceptable use
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of every value you enter and for ensuring your use of any generated document complies with all applicable laws. You agree not to use the Service to create false, misleading, or fraudulent documents, to misrepresent income, or to deceive any lender, landlord, government agency, or other party. Creating or submitting fraudulent financial documents is illegal and may be a criminal offense. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
4. No professional advice
Tax, deduction, and net-pay figures are estimates produced from your inputs and published rates, and may not reflect your actual obligations. The Service does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. Consult a qualified professional for your situation.
5. Payments
Paid documents and subscriptions are billed through our payment processor (Stripe). Prices are shown at checkout. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
6. Accounts
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate registration information.
7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PaystubProof is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any losses arising from your use or misuse of generated documents. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
8. No government affiliation
PaystubProof is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Social Security Administration, or any government agency.
